The Blank Canvas

I have had this huge canvas over my fireplace for several months now. People would come over and ask me what's the deal about the blank canvas and I would crack a corny joke saying, "it's very modern art". So, I have finally decided what I am going to do...being from the Delta, "Home of the Blues"...I'm thinking B.B.King, Robert Johnson, cotton, and tractors. So, with that in mind.....

ARTS ALIVE: Florence Arts and Crafts Festival
For the past couple of years I have gone to the Arts Alive Festival to pick up a poster to hang in the house....so check out what I found while strolling through the art. I love these!

I got a little inspiration...now all I need is my Sessions for Robert Johnson by Eric Clapton on my iPod and time. I will keep you updated on my piece!

Soda Pop Freeze Pops

Soda Pops are the new staple in the Thompson household. DELICIOUS! I like the Dr. Pepper and Andrew likes the Root Beer. The Orange Crush and 7up are yummy too!
